in your workplace!
As a member of Community Shares of Minnesota (formerly Community Solutions Fund) we benefit from their presence in workplace giving campaigns throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. This means new audiences and new dollars for us! So if you are looking for options in your workplace this fall, know that wherever Community Shares is represented, you can designate your gifts to the organizations nearest and dearest to your heart - including us! Tell your friends and co-workers!

Refreshments are served during the break between the program

Support groups follow the monthly program, from 3:45 – 5:00
p.m. These small discussion groups are completely confidential
and provide an opportunity for family members, friends, and GLBT
persons themselves to share thoughts and feelings, and to listen
to others do the same. In addition to our general topic groups,
we offer a group focused on gender identity and transgender issues.
Another group provides support for straight spouses of GLBT persons.
PFLAG Library, stocked
with books, articles and videos on a variety of GLBT topics, is
open during both events. All items circulate. You need not be
a member to check out materials.
The monthly program and facilitated support groups are open to all at no charge, although contributions are greatly
appreciated.

p.m - Support Groups and NEW discussion Group.
-> New Group Session Announced - Beginning this Sunday, Susan Anderson will be launching an additional group that will meet at the same time as our support groups. This group will be for folks who no longer need support, yet want to meet in a small group setting for sharing information. Here is a description of that group:
Skills Session: "Everyone comes to a point where they think about their personal initiatives on behalf of GLBT people and our society. Our "Skills Session" will provide an opportunity for people to discuss their ideas and experiences in order to equip people with the information, experience, confidence and encouragement that they need to get started. Come to this session with a desire to "launch your own initiative and to help others to begin their journeys."
